Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity
February 2017 – This month, Uniquifers dedicated their community service to the Playhouse Program through Habitat for Humanity. Life-sized children’s playhouses were constructed to be given to a community charity or family. Uniquifers participated in the Playhouse Prep Day, where we cut out the playhouse pieces, machined the windows and doors, and base painted the pieces of the playhouse. We hope the children have as much fun with these playhouses as we did preparing them!

Sacred Heart Community Services
October 2016 -This month’s community service was dedicated to Sacred Heart Community Service. Uniquifers participated in two shifts. The first shift was at the Clothes Closet, where we sorted out several crates of clothes from generous donors in our community. A few of us were also able to help out on the floor of the Clothes Closet as we assisted families with their clothes selection. The second shift included spreading the word to the SHCS’s neighborhood community regarding upcoming holiday events in November and December. It is truly incredible to see how many families SHCS has helped through their assistance with food, clothing, and housing

Martha's Kitchen
Martha’s Soup Kitchen
September 2016 – What better way to start off the autumn season than to volunteer at Martha’s Kitchen. This month, we served hot meals and drinks to approximately 200-300 hungry men, women, and children locally in San Jose. While we were cleaning up towards the end of the meal, it was an extremely rewarding experience knowing that they have eaten a warm and balanced meal and they are a little less hungry. A huge thanks goes to the group of Uniquifiers who have decided to take some time out of their busy schedule to help serve food to the hungry poor in our society. We are truly fortunate to have a place like Martha’s Kitchen.

Second Harvest Food Bank

Second Harvest Food Bank
August 2016 – This month, a group of Uniquifers decided to give back to the community by volunteering at the Second Harvest Food Bank at the Cypress location in San Jose. The fruit of the day was PLUM! It was a two hour shift of boxing 25 pound boxes of plums. Thank you to the volunteers who took time out of their busy schedule to help sort food at the warehouse, and to those who donated canned items to the food bank! Let’s help families become a little less hungry

4th of July Company BBQ
July 2016 – What better way to kick off the 4th of July weekend than to celebrate with a company BBQ. This year, Uniquifers headed outside to enjoy the sunshine and delicious food, including fresh grilled corn, hot dogs, chicken wings, and gourmet burgers! While some team members relaxed, others were more competitive and competed in a relay race, which include potato sack race, hula hoop contest, egg run, and 4 legged race. The champions not only dominated the relay race, but they also got to enjoy refreshing drinks with their Jamba Juice gift cards.

American Red Cross Blood Drive
September 2013 – Uniquify recently partnered with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at our headquarters in San Jose, CA. Throughout the day Uniquify team members visited the Red Cross bus stationed in our parking lot to donate blood (and grab a cupcake or 2!). We were able to collectively donate 21 units for the American Red Cross. These units will go towards helping the millions of patients in need. Way to go guys! A big thank you to the Red Cross for the smooth process!

UNQ Hiking Trip

Uniquify Hiking Trip
May 2013 – Several Uniquify team members enjoyed the beautiful weather of Silicon Valley by hiking a 3 hour trail in Alum Rock Park, San Jose. With gorgeous views, summer time weather and the company of great people, there’s no better way to spend a Saturday. Although the trail was significantly longer and more difficult than anyone anticipated, our Uniquifyers upheld a great attitude and had a blast. Way to go team!

Uniquify DDR with Confidence Technology Symposium Asia Tour

Lunch was served at both seminars for all attendees.

headquarters

We have moved!
September 2012 – Uniquify has relocated its corporate headquarters from a cramped space in Santa Clara, Calif., to a handsome and large building in San Jose, close to Highway 880, tripling our office space. In our new office, everyone’s able to spread out and there are enough conference rooms to handle all the daily meetings and then some. This office includes a dedicated on-site engineering working space for Uniquify’s customers and a lab area that everyone’s proud of. Visitors waiting in the lobby sometimes can hear the thwack of table tennis balls hitting the rackets. Although our office has moved, the goal to create chips easier and faster with better results remains at Uniquify.

“Uniquify’s internship program exposes graduates to a career in ASIC design. No experience necessary. Through training and practical implementation on real projects, interns will immerse themselves in the design process and get real results.”
